    Projects

Totem Arts Infrastructure Deployment / System Administration

    2020 - Present

Provide infrastructure and systems administration support for a distributed game development team. Built and maintain the automation used to provision Linux servers and deploy team services, using Ansible, Docker Compose, and virtualized infrastructure. Work with team members on operational requirements, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and make improvements that keep services reliable without requiring constant manual maintenance.

    Ansible Collections

    2021 - Present

A set of reusable Ansible roles developed to make bootstrapping and maintaining Linux servers easier across personal infrastructure. The project covers common server setup and maintenance tasks, as well as deploying containerized applications with Docker Compose. It has evolved over time as I’ve refined the roles, standardized their Ansible patterns, and consolidated them into a smaller, more maintainable collection.

    Atlantis IRC Library

    2013 - Present

A long-running hobby project exploring IRC client development, socket programming, and multithreading. The library has evolved through numerous .NET versions over the years, including the transition from the legacy .NET Framework to modern .NET. The current version targets .NET 9.0, with a simpler and more capable API and support for modern IRC features, while retaining a lightweight and portable design.

    Financial Modeling and Analysis Tool

    2024

Served as the primary engineer for a two-person software project, developing a financial modeling and analysis application from client requirements. Implemented the financial modeling engine in Python and built the reporting and visualization interface using React and TypeScript. Worked closely with the project owner to translate domain requirements into software while developing a practical understanding of double-entry accounting and financial planning.
